How many of us are managing multiple life roles these days and having the juggling act of avoiding that all too common burn out. All while still putting the time and focus into what is most important yourself, family and loved ones.
In this episode we have a chat with Katrina about how she person handles this all too present situation on a daily/ weekly basis.
Some little pearls from our chat:
The importance of Time and Space
Time = You are in charge of your own time
Space = What do you to give your self space in your day
Equals the management of you
Fuel, Fill and Rest
Fuel your tank – What drives you? At the start of the day, whether its writing or recording your thoughts, unpack everything in your head and start to map it out. Dump the thoughts to create excess mental spaceSo then you are fuelled and clear headed for the day. As well as your work will be half done when your ready for it during the day as you have started the process earlier on.
Fill your tank – find something to you get through the day, it doesn’t just need to be physical fuel. Mental fuel is equally as important. – are they articles, new themes and theories or just surrounding yourself with others that stand beside you and give you energy?
Rest your tank – Give something back to yourself at the end of the day. Have a laugh, spend time with those that matter most, take daily time outs, meditate or even mindful movement.
