Helen has been involved in the dance industry as a performer, teacher and choreographer for over 30 years and found herself in a Pilates studio when she was 21 to rehabilitate after a dance injury.
After many years of teaching dance and being a “student” of Pilates, Helen made the decision to complete her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (91491NSW) and has since completed the Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method (91490NSW), Buff Bones Certification, Level 1 Innovations in Pilates Certification, Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment TAE 40110 and Scolio-Pilates® Masters Training, and attended many professional development workshops both here and overseas.
Helen specialises in working with clients with Scoliosis and is the only Authorised Scolio-Pilates®Practitioner in Australia and presents Scolio Pilates Workshops throughout Australia / New Zealand / Asia. She is passionate about helping clients lead a healthy and pain-free life and avoid surgical intervention where possible. When not doing Pilates, you’ll find Helen walking her dog with her husband around the streets of Windsor or sipping on a Gin & Tonic!!
