What it is
“Knowing the neck” is a workshop with the intention of creating not only a better understanding of the cervical/neck, but also the effect it can have on body positioning and recruitment throughout the body. In this workshop, we will look at basic anatomy and articular motions of the neck, increasing mobility and strength in the neck as well as recruitment strategies and techniques in movement and its associated slings.

- Understanding and analysis of segmental articulation of the cervical
- Exercises for promoting cervical movement and neck strength
- Relationship of cervical movement, proprioception and it’s affect on bodies

Outcome
Participants would expect to walk away with a better understanding of cervical movement mechanics, applying exercise techniques to improve movement of the cervical, neck strength and affecting body recruitment and motion.
